Orwell is a heifer's calf from a consistent breeding dam line of longevity with many bulls sold for breeding and females retained at Whitecliffe. His dam, Lioness is a very milky cow, breeding smart calves suitable for both pedigree and commercial breeders. He carries one copy of the F94L Profit Gene and is in the top 5% of the breed for 200- 400- and 600- day weights, and has produced naturally born, rapid growing progeny in both pedigree and commercial herds alike. His MGS is Blelack Digger and his sire is Thrunton Fairfax, who are both trait leaders for Calving Ease and many other traits.
